Frank Hattemer
Frank Hattemer is a commercial banking executive with 26 years experience in commercial lending, deposit gathering and cash management, credit and sales. He led one of the nation’s largest homebuilder lending groups and has extensive experience in sales, loan origination systems and processes, and workouts.
Hattemer started his banking career in 1982 in Washington DC before joining Bank of Boston’s Commercial Real Estate Division. He spent several years at National City Bank with one of the Midwest’s leading lenders to commercial real estate developers, homebuilders and mortgage companies. In 1993, he joined Bank United in Houston, TX – a start-up bank buying real estate-related loans from failed thrifts and managing loans for the RTC. Bank United grew to be the largest bank headquartered in Texas before selling itself to WaMu in 2001. Hattemer served on the bank’s senior loan committee and started the bank’s mortgage company lending unit and commercial deposit/cash management group. Frank was part of WaMu’s Commercial Group leadership team where he served as business line executive for homebuilder lending, mortgage company lending, and commercial deposits. |
